Why I love teaching: I love to teach because I am able to witness the students evolution as they deepen their yoga practice; physically and emotionally as they move through any self limiting beliefs.  And, through teaching, I am able to connect with students on a deeper level that is truly inspiring

What I love about Modo Yoga: I love the Modo community because of the students, the ambassadors and fellow teachers. I also appreciate the consistent mentorship from Modo International to be better humans. I love the practice as well because of the heat, its physically challenging yet meditative which is an awesome combination!

If I could give one piece of advice to new students, it would be: My advice to new students is to just keep showing up. Yoga is medicine for your mind, heart and body. Commit, breathe and everything will happen as it should.

My favourite quote which sums up what you can expect from my class: To be liberated and shine!

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. ~ Marianne Williamson
